The city’s Christmas tree was erected in Eger, Dobó Square, on Wednesday morning.
The 10-meter-high silver pine was offered by István Barta, who lives in Árpád Street in Eger.
City Care staff cut it out and transported it to the city’s main square. The tree is fixed at three points to keep it secure. It will be decorated on Thursday, and on the first Sunday of Advent the usual Bethlehem scene will also be set up, as well as the children’s favorite, the huge sled.
