The bronze statue of Vicuska and Gergő in Eger, inspired by the opening scene of the Hungarian historical book: Eclipse of the Crescent Moon, was handed over over the weekend.
The public sculpture was set not far from Dobó Square, in the Square of the Border Warriors.
The local newspaper also reported that the statue was subjected to numerous criticisms after it was unveiled in the comments.
