Foreigners Without Social Insurance Number, Hungarians Abroad Can Now Register for Jab

Foreign residents and Hungarian citizens living abroad without a social insurance number can now register for jab, koronavirus.gov.hu said.

 

The Hungarian vaccination program is reaching a new stage, it added. Now that 55% of the Hungarian population and 92% of registered citizens have been vaccinated, the government is allowing foreigners resident in Hungary and Hungarian citizens abroad to get the jab by registering at vaccinainfo.gov.hu. An English-language registration platform as well as an online appointment booking system are also available for foreigners living in Hungary. Sinopharm, Pfizer and a limited amount of Sputnik V vaccines are available. Resident foreigners and Hungarian citizens abroad will be entitled to an immunity card once vaccinated.
