The National Directorate General for Disaster Management informed MTI on Tuesday morning that most reports came from Győr-Moson-Sopron, Fehér, Pest, and Komárom-Esztergom counties, but firefighters in the capital also had to intervene more than usual.
Most of the time, torn branches and fallen trees blocked the road, but in some cases, parked and moving vehicles were also damaged by the stormy wind. The chimneys and roof structures of several buildings have also been damaged by the wind, and firefighters have been alerted to thirty-one such incidents, they wrote.
